Many Bauermeister mills are used in the production of rice powder. The wide range of required particle size distributions demands great flexibility of the mills. Roller Mills are more appropriate for coarse ground product and the Universal Mills and Gap Mills for fine products. With an additional Classifier or a Classifier Mill superfine products are also possible. The output is possible from small quantities until 15 t/h.
Roller Mills are equipped with a feeding system and a conveying unit for the ground product. Universal Mills, Gap Mills and Classifier Mills use an air flow for conveying and cooling the product.
For the required fineness and output of each product, an optimal combination of milling parameters are available. Special fineness diagrams can be used for finding these parameters. For implementing the mill into a complete grinding plant, the following characteristics are important:
Characteristics for Plant Engineering:
• Required product output
• Product fineness
• Processing mode (continuous or batch)
• Plant design
• Available room size
• Safety regulations
